December 20th Inspirational Challenge

Howdy!

and welcome to Dude Time DoodlesI hope everyone is having a Marvelous Monday and not a Manic Monday trying to frantically finish your Christmas shopping.  I finally got finished yesterday.  Now comes the wrapping and a nice glass of wine or a cold beer!  Depending on my mood.

I'm so happy you decided to stop by today.  It's a great day for a challenge and today starts the Dude Time Doodles Inspirational Challenge for December.  The last challenge for 2010!!  My name is Cleota and I'll be your hostess.  Please grab a beverage, a comfy seat, and let's relax and have some fun checking out what the Design Team Dudettes have created for us.

We'll first visit with Anne who used Doghouse Doug for her project. You've got to love the look on Doug's face.  He knows he's done something really bad and he better not argue with wifey.  The little dog embellie on the top of the house is perfect.

Ginny decided to use Everyday Hero Evan for her card.  Her sentiment is so very true!!  I really like how she's sponged around the edges of each piece of paper she chose.

Next up, we have Ruth who chose Armchair Arnie to work with.  You've gotta love the papers she's chosen and her coloring of Arnie is to die for!

Our fearless leader, Boni, used both Armchair Arnie and Tiny Tequila for her project.  These boxes are fabulous.  I love how she's given Tiny a Mexican style shirt and a 5 o'clock shadow!

Theresa also used Armchair Arnie - I guess he's somewhat popular these days with football season in full swing!  That little bottle opener embellie is a great touch.

Ernie Carpenter is who Tammy decided to use to adorn her card.  I have to wonder if all men measure twice?  The twine she's added is a nice touch, but the coloring is fantastic!

Nancy made Pete Plumber look better than ever on her card.  I love how she's colored around the image.  Reminds me of leaking faucets and water running all over the floor!  Oh, cuz he's a plumber, DUH!!  :)

I chose Santi Beaches this time around.  I've been wanting to work with him for some time.  The fuzz on his hair is homemade Flower Soft.  For the beach, I used chalks and I decided to give him darker hair with just a touch of gray!

Fink used Pete Plumber.  I really like the festive paper she chose for her background.  And the bling embellishments add a cool touch.

Hetty is being sneaky this week and giving you a peek at one of our new images to be released in the December 31st Blog Hop. She actually mirrored the images which is very easy to do in Word or any digi photo program. Be sure to put the Hop on your calendars because Chef Burly Becky is looking to cook up some fun the end of the month!

Lynn, our December Guest Designer, used Youth Football for her project.  The star buttons with string are a great addition to the background paper.  I really like the layout and the pennant!

Wowsers!  Did they deliver the goods or what!?!  Fantastic job ladies!  I really enjoy seeing how each Dudette uses the inspirational photo and creates something totally different from the next.

THE RULES

1. Use the above picture to get your mojo moving.

2. You are not required to use BDD images although it would make us really really happy and giggle a lot if you did!

3. MUST be a masculine themed card, you can use humor, innuendo, be a little naughty, sarcastic, but it has got to be for a DUDE!

4. Be sure to use the InLinkz below to submit your creation.

You have until January 4th - that's two weeks - to link up your projects.  We will chose our Top Three Winners and Top Blog Winner and announce them here!
From all of us at Dude Time Doodles and Bonibleaux Design Digis, we greatly appreciate all of you for helping us get started these last few months and hope that you will continue to participate in our fun challenges.  We hope you have yourself a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or Happy Kwanzaa - whichever you may celebrate!

Oh, and a Happy New Year!!
